What to expect at a Thai wedding.

Having been through one myself, Thai wedding can be ... intriguing/controversial for people of different cultures. Starting with SinSod, who know how many western husbands goes " why are your parents selling you?" I know it seems that way but all I can say is that it's just tradition. It's to show how much you appreciate your in-laws for raising your wife, and show them you are financially secured enough to take care of their daughter.

I'm not sure about other cultures but in Thailand, the wife does everything at home, getting him drinks when he gets home from work, all the way to an old teaching of Grabbing (to Grab is like to wai but your forehead touches the floor) the husband every night before going to bed. To me as a modern woman, that's a bit much, I only Grabb monks. But if you ask anyone with a Thai wife, I think many Thai ladies have exceed the expectation as a wife, just because they saw their mother does so.

In the guest part, Songs(money envelope) are much talked about. Although theoretically you can put as much as you feel like in the Song, but practically there are certain appropriate number for each cycle of social status, we humorously  call this " socializing tax".

Apart from that, every wedding is beautiful because of Love. Enjoy the vdo. Congratulations to Max and Tara again :)
